The Silent Jack AU Plug has a hermetically sealed reed switch device that maintains a shorted tip until just before full insertion when the tip becomes live. This prevents all the hum, squeals and thumps associated with plugging in and removal of a jack during a performance. This is Neutriks updated Silent Jack based on a hermetically sealed reed switch design, the sleeve and tip are gold plated and the body has a rubber sleeve to protect it should you drop it.The NP2X-B is a standard body shape but black with gold sleeve and tip, the solder tags are also gold plated. The combination of these plugs and Van Damme cable ensure you have the highest possible quality.These leads can cope with the roughest treatment and still deliver a high quality signal.
