You're looking at a beautiful 1967 Hoboken made Guild F-20, #AG 1544

(the guitar's label is long gone, but the serial number is clearly marked on the back of the head).

This instrument has been sitting in its case since 1973; thus, it has been spared

the wear that afflicts most Hoboken-era Guilds. It shows some very light scuffing on the back,

light finish checking and an occasional small nick, but as you can see by the photos, 

it is remarkably clean for a 45-yr-old guitar. It has minor fret wear, first three frets only treble side;

The guitar is basically O-sized, about 13 1/2" wide at the lower bout,

with a nut width of 1 5/8" and a scale length of 24 5/8".  

It has a flat top, firm bridge  Action is 1/8" at the 12th fret, low E,

and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck.

Strung with D'addario 12's, this little Guild rings out like a bell,

bold and bright as only a Hoboken F-20 can sound! 

In my opinion the action is a little high at 12ft fret and 'may' benefit from a neck reset, however I have taken this into consider regarding the price.

Forget the O-size Martins, these earlier F-20s have become the acknowledged

King of the Small-Bodied Folk Guitar! And you won't find a better example than this.
