For sale is an original and new work for trombone octet and is adapted by the composer from a big band composition. It is an advanced standard piece and includes improvisation in the lead trombone part. It is written in a relaxed modern latin groove and is reminiscent of the big band writing of Maria Schneider and Bob Brookmeyer. Instrumentation is for 6 tenor trombones and 2 bass trombones.
