A Vintage Reynolds Full Double F/bb Horn

This is a  vintage Reynolds Contempora  Double Horn in F/Bb which has been fully refurbished using a team of the best craftsmen in the UK.  It is in yellow high quality original stripped raw brass.. The valves have been overhauled and set up professionally and unlike many vintage horns on the web this one has very good compression and blows superbly. It dates to a time before makers using Chinese components and to craftsmen working hands on the horn often fulfilling the same operation foe 30 or more years. In short top quality workmanship.

The horn has been blown by one of the UK's most famous players who rated it as very good and in good condition for its age but be under no illusion it has been well used with denting to the hand guard, scratching and pitting over the years. However major dents have been removed and the horn has been professionally stripped and polished and so looks quite smart to an audience .It has the added benefit of separate Bb side tuning like an 8D.

 I have tested it from the fundamental to super high c and found it to have a great ringing tone and easy to play.
